The folks at UNDONE have followed their highly successful Batman 80th Anniversary watches with the new Quantum Collection. The Batman Quantum Black (Limited Edition) and the Batman Quantum Silver (Standard Edition) are drawn from Batman’s formidable arsenal of suits, vehicles, and gadgets. They feature an NH35A automatic movement,
scratch-proof sapphire crystal dome, and a Grade II Titanium alloy case.
Inspired by the “Batmobile” and Mech-Batsuit, the angular case sports hooded lugs, a muted and sinister colorway, and a steathy, sandblasted finish. The Batman Quantum Black (limited to 500 pieces) takes the Dark Knight concept even further with a tough diamond-like-carbon (DLC) coating. It measures at 47mm wide with a 43mm bezel, and 16.25mm thick including the crystal.
The unique dial is semi-transparent, revealing the automatic movement beneath. It’s indices recall the Batmobile’s jet-engine rear exhaust. A yellow date indicator wheel pays homage to the Batman’s
distinctive yellow oval insignia (1989-1993). Icy blue lume glows like Batman’s classic detect-a-scope radar.
You will find the bat-logo on the Quantum’s dial, machine-cut crown, and the medallion insert integrated onto the watch’s
caseback. In a nod to the Batsuit, the Quantum sports a sleek, black rubber strap.
The Batman Quantum (Standard Edition) is $650, and the Batman Quantum Black (Limited Edition) is $799. For more information or to order your own, visit the UNDONE webstore. ⬩
