No, this isn’t a watch review, but it is a mildly important bit of website news. The Time Bum has finally updated its subscription service to follow.it.
You see, The Time Bum’s original RSS feed was through Google’s Feedburner, and that was fine until they stopped supporting it. Even then, it wobbled on for a while until they announced its demise last year. And yet, I still did nothing to address the situation until a reader contacted me about six weeks ago and ask what the hell happened. It seems Google finally turned it off forever and I hadn’t noticed. Oops.
Well, follow.it rode to the rescue with a cheap (free) Feedburner replacement that picks up where the Google product left off and added a few dandy features in the process like the ability to choose output channels, delivery time, and format. If you subscribed in the past, your email migrated to follow.it and you should have already received a confirmation email with the option to continue or cancel. If you ignored it as spam, I don’t blame you, but please go back and click. If you unsubscribed because you wondered if it was legit, please resubscribe.
I’d encourage you to sign up so you won’t miss any of your precious Time Bum content. Also because I have decided I hate doing newsletters almost as much as video reviews.
