Ten years? Ten? Have I really been blogging that long? I posted the very first Time Bum review of the humble Nixon Mellor on August 29, 2013, and today is August 29, 2023, so yes, while I find it hard to believe, it seems it must be true.
What does one do for an anniversary like this? I tried to remember how other watch sites had celebrated their milestones and realized that I had no memory of them because I didn’t care. Don’t get me wrong. I know the editors of those sites are fine people. It’s just that I visit watch blogs to read about the watches, not the writers and editors. So, dear reader, I will spare you the origin story, the lamentation about how it was such hard work, the ruminations on the journey, and the back-patting about how far we have come. Instead, I will just say thank you.
Thank you, watchmakers, for entrusting us with your wares and letting us say whatever the heck we want about them.
