It’s on!
District Time 2024 will be brought to you by Tsao Baltimore on Saturday, March 2nd, and Sunday, March 3rd, at the District Architecture Center, 421 7th Street NW, Washington, D.C. Admission is free, and our doors will be open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m both days.
Since 2016, Bill McDowell and yours truly have brought an eclectic mix of emerging and established watchmakers to our nation’s capital for this event. Because many of these brands only sell online or at a handful of retail locations, District Time offers a rare opportunity for D.C. metro area enthusiasts to see these watches in person, try them on, and even chat with their designers before bringing their desired timepiece home.
This year is going to be huge. As you can see below, we have an incredible array of watch brands and dealers coming to the event, and we expect more will join us in the coming weeks. Note that everyone listed as a participant this year will be attending in person (yes, even Vario!). Special thanks to our District Time sponsors:
- Tsao Baltimore
- Bespoke Watch Projects,
- Canopy,
- Formex,
- Stella,
- Traska,
- Towson Watch Company,
- Vortic, and,
- Zenea.
We take great pride in making District Time an accessible, low-key event that welcomes those new to the watch hobby as well as seasoned collectors. The format will be much the same as in prior years. Guests can shop and chat throughout the day and enjoy the chance to win one of our terrific prizes at 3:00 p.m. This year, YouTuber Random Rob will be there to livestream interviews and on-the-spot reviews.
Exhibitors and guests alike have consistently praised the District Architecture Center (DAC), so we have returned to the venue for the past six events. Located in D.C.’s bustling Penn Quarter neighborhood, the DAC is a modern, glass-walled space flooded with light. It is within one block of the Chinatown/Gallery Place Metro station and a large public underground parking garage.
There will be more news before showtime, but for now, check out our participants, sign up for updates at the District Time website, and clear your calendar for that first weekend in March! You won’t want to miss this.
