The limited edition machine that is Undone Watches has done it again, this time releasing the gorgeous colors of the Stellar collection just in time for summer.
Starting with Undone’s wildly successful Urban Chronograph platform (40mm wide, 47.6mm long, domed K1 mineral crystal), the Stellar adds eye-popping color and a Khanjar emblem at 12 o’clock.
The latter is a nod to custom watch dials popular in the Middle Eastern market, but it also happens to the national symbol of Oman. Often, watches with such custom dials were given as state gifts and as such, have become highly collectible. You will find the Khanjar on the display case back as well.
The dials are Purple, Yellow, and “Tiff” Blue. (Yeah, you know which Tiff.) Undone finishes the enamel paint with multiple coats and sanding to achieve a high gloss surface. The 24-hour and 60-minute subdials hint at the Seiko VK64 MechaQuartz inside. Applied markers and polished baton hands finish it off.
Undone provides two quick-release, 20mm straps with the Stellar. The first is high-quality Epsom leather that coordinates with the vibrant dials. The second is vintage-style brown leather with a printed Khanjar emblem.
The Stellar sells for $349 directly from Undone and will only be available for purchase within a two-week period, between June 24th and July 8th. Each color is limited to 300 pieces and is uniquely serialized. They are going fast, so if you want to rock one of these candy-colored gems on your vacation, you had better act fast.
